Swim Meet 101

    Chairs, Food & Drink
  • Depending on the location you will need to bring your own chair or blanket.  We will try to update you on those locations as we get closer to the meet.
  • We must obey the rules of each pool we are visiting, some allow you to bring food and drink in and others do not, please respect the rules.
  • Check In - SWIMMERS need to check in with the coaches immediately upon arrival
  • Arrive ON TIME! 
  • Check Events - After warm ups the heat information will be posted
  • Equipment - Swimmers should have a Bee Meadow Cap for the event.
  • Volunteers - Check in at the Bee Meadow Table
  • Meet Start - All swimmers should report to the bee meadow area, it is NOT the marshals' responsibility to find the swimmers. Please make sure your swimmers are near the marshalling area.
  • Team Spirit - When not actively being marshalled all kids should be cheering on their team
  • Meet Completion - the meet is over and swimmers can leave after the final race. Please make sure all swimmers remain until the end unless prior permission is granted by the coach.
  • Clean up - Please leave your area cleaner than the way you found it.


    • As a reminder meets are very busy. PLEASE let the coaches do their jobs and watch the swimmers. If you have a question find one of the volunteer coaches in a yellow shirt or one of the parent board members and we will try to help you.

    If your commitment changes and you are not able to make the meet please text christine with your childs name & age as soon as possible so we can make the changes.
